Today people are more into purchasing leather furniture items than the wooden or fabric made products. The leather furniture products are not only elegant but they offer a sense of class to the entire home décor. Moreover, leather furniture products are durable too, with lesser maintenance costs. The fabric upholstery generally tends to wear away with time, but original leather products can last a lifetime, if conserved with the right processes. All they require is good conditioning and cleaning.

Inappropriate cleansing or conditioning may damage your furniture.

Note that your original leather upholstered furniture should not be exposed to direct light or water. Avoid placing the furniture near or just diagonally opposite to your windows. Generally with sunlight the color and sometimes the surface of the leather get burnt. Avoid cleaning the furniture with wet cloth as this might affect the shade or the material as a whole.

Use appropriate leather cleaner for cleansing the surface of the leather upholstery. Harsh detergents or other household cleaning materials may damage the furniture. Clean the furniture regularly, at least once in two months to avoid dirt from accumulating on the furniture.
